Desktop video recording software which captures screen activity and works with 3D games and applications.
Taksi, originally inspired by "Fraps" (fraps.com) is a lightweight program which can take screenshots and record video clips of games and other 3d applications. It's open source and free.
Keymapping is a useful feature which gives the opportunity of mapping certain keys to certain functions making switching windows unnecessary. Runtime re-mapping of the keys is supported via GUI: user can change keys without having to restart the game.
Custom video settings are supported (see manual.txt for more details about this). Basically, this allows a user to specify on a per-game basis the frame rate of the captured video, and the weight of each source frame.
Features:
- Supports Windows 95-98, Windows XP-Vista and Windows 7.
- 3D Graphics API: Direct3D 8, Direct3D 9, OpenGL, GDI
